If we lean against each other we can do the most incredible thing: we can walk up the wall

I've had a headache for 3 days. I've tried to make it go away; tylonel, soda, sleep, food. Maybe its my irregular sleep schedule. Perhaps Ill try to sleep before 4 tonight and get up before noon. I've also had a lot of dizzy spells. It may just be the heat, not really sure. I'm sure things will clear up.
I haven't really done much since being home from Cornerstone. A group of us went geocaching last Thursday. I was on the YELLOW team with Sheryl, Jeremiah, Doug and Dan. We found 4/6 caches. We are fairly certain the other caches just were not there, but who knows. The other team, the orange team; Suzi, Shawn, gRegor, Ian and Alex, found 5/6 caches. Orange was victorious  We ate at Handels afterwards, and ice cream place. I got Graham Central Station ice cream, which was essentially vanilla ice cream with graham crackers in it, it was delicious. Geocaching is quite the team building exercise, I really enjoy it.
Friday, Wolfy had a concert at a park in Speedway. It was pretty good despite the sound system being terrible. It was good to see them play again, I'd missed them a lot. Then, Alex, Ian, gRegor and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings. Afterwards, I cleaned my apartment up a bit. Its looking better.
Saturday I hung out with Matt. We went to the mall to do some shopping. I picked up some undies and other clothes. It was a good shopping day. Then we made burritos, they were tasty. Then I went with Ian, gRegor and Nikki to see Doug's band Autumn's Descent play. They were great, I really enjoyed the show.
Sunday, I went to Common Grounds again. I'm really starting to like that play. Ian, Alex, gRegor and I went to O'Charley's afterwards. After that, Matt and I watched Evan Almighty. I loved it, I thought it brought out a lot of great messages.
I will more than likely buy 1 of 2 cars in the next week or so. My landlord said the car he is going to sell me is ready. There is also another car, next to Matt's house, that I'd like to find the price out on. I'm going to give the woman a call this evening to find out details about it. So we'll see. I'm a bit nervous about it. Only because it means...bye bye to $$. I was offered the job at IUPUI again. More than likely, I'll take it.
My brother is getting married Aug. 8th. I'm going to head home sometime around then...maybe the 4th or so, and stay at least until the 12th [Kayleigh's birthday]. I'm excited, I've missed Bloomington a lot lately.

Anyway, I think I'm going to go read some. Try to shake this ache out of my head.

PS: The Kite Runner is an excellent book. You should read it.

  • w00t!  I was quoted!  And as a subject too!

I just realized from this post that I saw you 5 days in a row last week.  A new world record!  Actually I'm not sure about that being the first time that has happened, but I'm pretty sure I have never seen you 6 days in a row.

Oh, and by the way it's Niki (with one k).  Just FYI

  • 3 days? Damn. Not sure what to tell you. Usually time gets rid of them for me, and caffeine and painkillers are certainly high on the remedy list. Lemme know how long that lasts because....that's fucked up.
